Installation Survey
Property layouts can vary, that is why we always request pictures before providing an electric vehicle (EV) charging point installation plan.
It is important that we have a good understanding of your property and individual requirements so that there are no hidden surprises when we arrive to install your new EV charging point. This allows our engineers to arrive fully prepared and helps maintain our 100% installation success rate.
The more images you provide the better our understanding of your house will be. As a minimum please provide the pictures listed below.
Fuse board location and a close up
At least one picture of your fuse board and a picture with each of the circuit breakers visible.
Incoming electricity supply and meter
A clear picture of your incoming electricity supply and meter. This is could be located in a box on the outside of your house or close to your fuse board.
Cable run from the electricity supply to the charging point location
Provide pictures that demonstrate the most appropriate path for the cable to take from the point of electrical connection to your preferred charging point location.
Charging point location and surrounding ground area
Show the desired location of your new charger and the ground area. Ideally there will be soft ground somewhere close by.
