EV Infrastructure Grant for Staff and Fleets
What Does the Grant Cover?
The infrastructure grant for staff and fleets has a maximum amount of £15,000 and can be used to subsidise up to 75% of the cost of installing EV charging points. Aside from covering the cost of multiple EV charging points, the grant can be used to fund the installation of the wider supporting structures, such as posts and cables, that are needed to ensure the full functionality of the sockets. Here’s a summary of what the grant offers:
You can get £350 for each installed charging socket.
You can get £500 for each EV ready parking space that is created. EV ready means that the distribution equipment is in place ready for the chargers to be added at a later date.
You can apply for up to 5 grants to cover the cost of improving 5 different sites.

How Is the Grant Claimed?
Once they’ve completed the work, the EV charging point installer will claim the grant on behalf of your business. They will provide OZEV with the details of the completed project, including pictures of the site and the invoice. OZEV will inform you about the submission so you can review the claim. You have a week to respond, otherwise the claim will be submitted to OZEV as it is. Upon approval, the grant will be paid to the installer, who will then deduct it from your invoice.
